I am nine weeks old this week and I went up to Flagstaff to see my favorite doctor, Dr. Seeman for a checkup. They put me on the scale and I weighed in at 12.1 pounds. I am 23inches tall!! I am sure growing fast! I rank right in the 50th percentile for my age in both height and weight. The doctor aslo talked to Mommy and Daddy about what immunizations that I was going to get and so I got two shots!! Daddy stayed with me in the room but Mommy had to leave, I heard her say that she didn't want to see me cry in pain. PAIN, what? Were these shots going to give me pain? and where? where were they going to give me these shots? Daddy stayed right by my side telling me it was going to be okay. The nurse gave me two shots, one in each leg. OUCH!!!! Did they every hurt!! I got two bandaids on my legs and my legs were sore all day long.

Oh sweetheart...Auntie Em's sitting at her desk with tears in her eyes reading your blog and seeing the pictures of you crying. I feel my heart hurting seeing you upset like that. Don't worry sweetheart, as you get bigger and stronger the shots don't hurt as much, stay sweet my angel...Know that you're loved!
