Missing Friends

Today I am really missing my friends and family. I am not sure what it is, but I am missing them a lot! I usually "talk" to my girlfriend Kristin all day on instant messenger but she has been at the hospital with her husband Ryan for over 10 days now. He is doing better but still needs a lot of prayer! Check out her blog: www.sweeney4.blogspot.com.

Also, I chat with my sister Kelly frequently and she and her husband are in California at a conference. I am so happy for her. I love that her and Daniel (Tim) are doing so much together! I love to see growing marriages and deepening love!

My other girlfriends are quite a drive away. Michelle is in Ohio, thats 7 hours; Katie is in Portland, thats too far to drive; Kristy is in Rimrock thats a 27hour drive, my parents are there too. Rachel is in Crystal Lake, not too far but she is working full time; Christin is in Barrington and thats about 50minutes. Tina is only in Cortland but she has her hands full with a new baby. I need to get some hobbies!

Despite being a bit lonely today, there is MUCH to be thankful for!!! I have cleaned 2/3 of my house so far today. I am taking a break before tackling the kitchen. I HATE doing dishes, if you could see my kitchen you would see proof of that. I have washed every piece of dirty laundry, the second to last load is the washer.

More reasons to be thankful:
Tricia got her new set of lungs-- www.cfhusband.blogspot.com
Jackson is no longer sick--teething but not sick!
John is feeling better
My Dad is sharing God's love to an elderly lady in his church
The list could go on and on! No more pity party for being lonely!! My God is a great God, doing mighty things!!! I will rejoice in HIM!!!

"REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, again I say REJOICE! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing. But in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. And the peace that passes understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:4-7

Psalm 77:11-14
"I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples."
