First Tornado Warning

So I spent my first ever Tornado warning in the basement. Yup, thats right, the sirens went off and the whole nine yards and yes, my husband made us all go down to the basement until it was clear. Having the personality of my father, I wanted to go outside and see it! I didn't get to!! I was waiting patiently until I could go outside and see what was left of the storm. It is still raining, lightening, thundering. They called for hail but we didn't see any of that, it could have come and gone with the tornado that I didn't get to see. Bummer! Here is some really really amateur video footage of mainly the lightening that is filling up the sky. It was pretty neat when we came up from the basement and looked outside the sky was green! It was crazy! I tried to capture it on camera but it really didn't show up that well.

PS. I do know that storms are not a joke and are very dangerous and even take life and do severe damage. I praise the Lord tonight that we were spared any damage. Please pray for those who may have suffered great loss due to this storm.

Craziness! How long did you have to stay in the basement? Did your flower garden survive the hail? Did the tornado touch down anywhere? 20 questions from the Arizona girl who has never experienced a tornado warning. :)
