1 Shout for joy in the LORD,
O you righteous!
Praise befits the upright.
2 Give thanks to the LORD with lyre;
make melody with the harp of ten strings!
3 Sing to him a new song;

and all his work is done in faithfulness.

9 For he spoke, and it came to be;
he commanded and it stood firm.
10 The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
he frustrates the plans of the peoples.
11 The counsel of the LORD stands forever,
the plans of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!
13 The LORD looks down from heaven;
he sees all the children of man;
14 from where he sits enthroned the looks out
on all the inhabitants of the earth.
15he who fashions the hearts of them all
and observes their deeds.
16 The king is not saved by his great army;
a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation,
and by its great might it cannot rescue.
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love,
19 that he may deliver their soul from death
and keep them alive during famine.
20 Our soul waits for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart is glad in him,
because we trust in his holy name.
22 Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us,
even as we hope in you.

Our joy is in the LORD!! He gives us so much daily. Breath, life, HOPE, love! and the list could go on! Our prayer is this : let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you!!
Our hope is in the LORD!! He will deliver us from this trial, in HIS perfect timing! And as we wait patiently in tribulation, we rejoice in hope! We thank God for the blessings of our son he gives us daily. We thank God for the sacrifices of family and friends who give so that we may spend time with Jackson. Here are a few pics of some of the blessings God has bestowed upon us lately. Our hearts are definately GLAD IN HIM and we do TRUST in HIS HOLY NAME!!

Kandy and John, we love you so much!! I was listening to the song "with hope" by I forget who. It's a saddish song more about death than about what we're going through. But this morning I let it take me to the same place you seem to be in this blog post. There's a part that says I can cry...with hope! I love that part. Because its so true. Like in John when Jesus is pretty much saying goodbye to his disciples, letting them know that He is not staying with them--He says:
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
John 16:32-33
We DO have peace in Him. But oh how the troubles hurt. Thank Him and His loving heart for overcoming the world so that in moments like these we have hope!!
