Fun with friends

Woody, Jackson, and I headed up to Michigan Friday night through Sunday afternoon to spend some much longed for time with Kristin and the twins. Jackson, Lily and Wyatt played so great!!! There was no fighting over toys and much laughter and sillyness. I couldn't find my camera before we left so Kristin took a few pictures. She took us to the Pizza Ranch for dinner Saturday night, which was oh so yummy. THANKS KRISTIN!!! She made us cookies both days, um delicious. Her mom gave us home made cookies, again delicious. Woody finally got to watch some basketball, since we gave up cable he hasn't seen a single game. It was such a great trip!!!

I missed Ryan more than usual this trip. It might have been because Woody was there and they would hang out when Kristin and I hung out. Ryan was so fun to be around and always cracking jokes. I remember many dinners over at their townhouse right after the twins were born when he and Woody would watch the Cubs play and I'd hear Woody laughing and see Ryan smiling. I smile thinking of him and remembering the man he was. Kristin is really missing him these days as well, please pray for her. This season of the year is so full of painful and happy memories with Ryan. Please pray God would fill her loniless with His presence and give her extra patience with the kids . Despite missing her husband so much she is doing well. She has a BEAUTIFUL home, so nicely put together. She is so organized and GREAT with two almost three year-olds. I struggle with my one I have no idea how she does it. Her kids are so well behaved and polite. Her faith is to be admired. I can't wait to go back up again. I hope I can make it one more time before the baby comes.
