38 weeks and 1 day

Thats how far along I am: 38 weeks and one day. That is 8 days longer than I was preggo with Jackson. I am ready for this baby to welcome, him/herself into this world. However, at the same time, I can 'handle" life right now with the baby in my womb. I am NOT at all sure how I am going to "handle" life with 2 babies. I am tired now with Jackson, how am I going to make it with another baby demanding more of me??

But I guess I will. Millions of women have done it before me. I am not the first woman to have 2 children at home!

So besides all that, I realized that I have not posted about this pregnancy hardly at all, despite a few pictures. I am going to walk this baby out! I have been walking twice a day in order to "get things moving". The only thing moving, and not at all fast, are my legs and the wheels on the stroller. I am not at all close to labor, well according to my calculations anyhow. And I am not really sure how to measure that except there are NO contractions. Oh well, the walking is great and I am able to absorb some much needed Vitamin D!! Jackson loves going on walks and he points out everything, trucks, birds, balls, dogs! He loves it! I took Gunnar today, he did great. Walked right by my side the whole time and now he is tuckered out.

I will keep walking, twice a day, and hope that something starts to happen.

I can't wait either!! Kandy, you are so gorgeous and your family with John and Jackson is going to be even more beautiful with baby woodard along for the ride! You are going to be GREAT! Jackson's reactions will be a blast to watch and your heart will grow even bigger than it is now--hard to believe!!! :) What a blessing!! I am so happy for you and John!! (and can I say?...a little jealous too:) We can't wait till Scott and I get to experience the joys of parenting with you. Let me know how the walking goes--I'll be watching my phone for a call that you've gone into labor. Although I DO think a Cinco de Mayo baby would be a blast!! Ole!!
