She decided it was her time to come and began making her way at 2am on Monday morning. By 3am I was in a lot of pain and the contractions were coming about 3 mins apart. So I called Kati and Carolyn and Emily and off to the hospital John and I went. By the time I got to the hospital at 4am I was 9cm and the contractions were coming alot harder and faster. At 5am I was 10cm and Addison just wasn't ready. Her positioning made it really hard to get her out. After 2 hours of pushing and crazy contractions she finally arrived. 0755 May 11, 2009. All in all it was a great labor experience again. Yes painful but oh of course so worth it! John was amazing!! Even Dr. Federici bragged on him to the nurses and to me. He is great!!
I stayed in the hospital a little more than 24 hours and we are home now. The trees look a little greener, the sky a little bluer and all in all the house feels really different now. Jackson loves his little sister. He just learned to say "brother" a few days ago so he is rather proud that he is Jackson and brother! He loves to try and smother her and give her kisses but he is VERY concerned when new people are around and she is crying. We'll see how the adjustment goes. So far so good.
God is so very good!!! What a generous God to give us such amazing blessings! Thank you God for babies!

BEAUTIFUL--WONDERFUL pictures!! Thank you for posting! You all look so incredible together! I especially like photo 19 where Kati is holding Addison and Jackson is standing there like, "hey you be careful! that's my babee." She's a very lucky girl to have such a cool big brother. :)
