Now after work is where the climax of my day hits. On my way home, I hit a patch of ice and slid off the road. Ok, that is a mild, very watered-down version of what happened. I actually slid off the road, through the ditch, into a plowed field and rolled my truck. First things first, praise God that I walked away with the smalled little scratch, the truck-not so lucky! Making a longer story short, the truck is probably totalled and sitting in my driveway with a huge tarp on it. At first I was really bummed because I have really enjoyed being able to work on this truck and have something that I have desired since a teenager. But then again I was overcome with thankfulness. Thankful that I was able to walk through the door of my house and see all my family. Thankful that I was able to hold my daughter as she drank her bottle. Thankful that although I really liked my truck, I know that it is only a truck.
Thanks to God who provides in so many ways! Thank you for keeping me safe and for blessing me with so much!
Here are some pictures of the truck--I know you wanted to see it

Wow, those pictures make it real for those of us hundreds of miles away. I praise God with you that He protected you. Man, the roof caved in right next to you. Amazing! I am praying for God's provision and abundant blessing through this. I am so bummed with you that your truck is broke. But I respect you so much reading your response here, you are a man with right priorities. It's a loss for sure, but God is good even in the sad things.
WOW! (like you said) Thank the Lord you are okay and still with your family.
