Afternoon Project

My niece's 6th birthday is coming up and I set off to make her some dolls.  They ended up being a lot more challenging than I thought.  I really hope she likes them!!  We shall see.

I got the pattern from Bit of Whimsey Dolls.  It is really easy to follow and reusable for sure!  They had a lot of really cute animal patterns.  I may tackle a stuffed animal for the new baby, but I want to wait until I know if Baby is a boy or girl before I decide which animal.  And then I will probably be to busy and my sewing machine will collect dust once again.

I am super glad I also sent her a gift via Amazon! :)  I think i will stick to burp cloth enhancements!  Unfortunately this was my "great idea" for Addison's birthday as well.  Not sure if I have the oomph to make more esp if she doesn't like them.  What to do?  What to do??
