April Showers...

May is bound to be absolutely beauitful with lots of flowers with all the rain that we are getting. It has been raining hard all day!! It's dark, rainy, windy and all around a beautiful day! Beautiful you may ask, how so? Well beautiful in that my GOD made it and HE is GOOD.

I just got off the phone with Kristin. I almost didn't answer because I was trying to nap for work tonight. But I wasn't sleeping very well, since our roof is metal the rain is LOUD! So I answered and she sounded happy. She was walking up 6, that's right, six flights of stairs to Ryan's room in the ICU after sending her father-in-law off back to Illinois. Ryan is doing GREAT!! He is down to 45%, maybe will even be down to 40% by the end of the day. His peep is down to 5, all these things are great!!! He is awake, on minimal amounts of sedation, which can be frustrating for him and Kristin, but it is a good sign.

Needless to say, that after hanging up with her I could not sleep. My spirit is too high for sleep. All I can say is PRAISE THE LORD, and that doesn't seem like enough! God is so AWESOME!! So even though its rainy and a bit cold here today, the SON is shining bright and warms my heart!

I must say however, that even when the days were dark Jesus was still shining bright and Kristin was praising Him. God has been asking me through each day, even if I answer your prayers in a way you might not agree with, will you still say "GOD IS AWESOME?". In my mind I say, yes! I want to be able to say GOD IS AWESOME in all and every situation. In order to do that I must KNOW my God. In order to know my God I must be in His word and in relationship with Him. So, in every situation I will say BLESSED be the NAME of the LORD!! I want to love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my mind. Help me Lord live for you and shine your light.
