Today was a hopeful day for Kristin and a good day for Ryan. Check out her blog for the most recent update.
As I was working out yesterday I read Psalm 25. Here are a few verses:
1 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, in you I trust.
Let me not be put to shame
let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 In deed, none who wait for you
shall be put to shame...
4 Make me to know your ways,
O LORD;
teach me your paths.
5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.
There is a song that we sing at harvest that is from this Psalm. It is a great song. The chorus is this:
"no one whose hope is You will ever be put to shame, that's why my eyes are you, O Lord. Surround me, defend me, oh I need you. To You I lift up my soul, to You I lift up my soul."
I know that there are many many people lifting up Ryan to the Lord and Kristin is very greatful. She asks that we keep praying. She said "anyone with a line to God please get on it for Ryan". It was nice to hear her voice tonight, she was hopeful! Please continue to pray that Ryan's oxygen needs keep decreasing and hold steady. They were down to 55% when she left tonight. The doctor said they are still a long way from a transplant, but Kristin knows every step in the right direction is great! So please pray Ryan will hold steady and make more gradual improvements. Remember to PRAISE THE LORD for all HE did today and is going to do tonight and tomorrow. We want to pray but we cannot forget to PRAISE!!
