I stand for Christ...

Even in the midst of trials, especially in the midst of trials, I will stand with Christ, I will CHOOSE Life.

James MacDonald wrote these words:
"By standing, I mean a state of mind from which we are free from doubt. Allegiance. Assurance. Certainty. Certitude. Commitment. Confidence. Decisiveness. Fidelity. Firmness. Fortitude. Grit loyalty. Persistence. Steadfast resolve. Tenacity. Trust"

I admit I have faltered and failed even today with standing for Christ. But I know there is forgiveness and grace even when I do fail. In my failures I so desperately want to do better next time. In our current situation standing means to me:

Allegiance to God and no other!
Assurance that God is sovereign.
Certainty that God's will will be done.
Committment to walking upright and according to His word.
Confidence in HIM and His promises.
Deciveness to choose Life, to choose to stand.
Firmness: My feet are planted firmly on the cornerstone. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
Fortitude/Grit: While this trial is hard and even though I cannot see all that God is doing: I STILL stand with/in HIM
Loyalty: God has never and will never leave my side. He is in me and I in Him.
Persistance--I am persistantly approaching the throne of God Almighty in prayer
Steadfast Resolve: This is a hard one; I falter in being steadfast, my mind wanders. God help me have steadfast resolve to believe you is working!!
Trust: O LORD I do trust you. I trust that you love me, that you are in control and that I will see the blessings of the Lord in the land of the living. O for Grace to trust you more!!!
