Today you are 2 years old--wow!!! 2 years ago tonight at 10:02 pm we welcomed you into this world in Arizona. It was such an exciting moment. When your daddy looked at me and said, "you have a son" a joy filled my heart. I was nervous and still am about raising you to love Jesus and live for Him but I am praying and trusting God to lead you.

You are such a great big brother. 10 days ago your sister Addison come home and you love her so much. You give her your blankies and today you even gave her your treasured bunny. How sweet! You give her lots of kisses every morning and during the day. You love to show her all your toys and offer them to her even though she can't play with them.

You throw some fits but for the most part you are a VERY HAPPY well behaved little boy. You LOVE trucks, shovels, rakes and digging. You really love to be outside and would stay there all day if you could. You get extremely frustrated when your toys don't work as you think they should, mamaw says your daddy was the same way.

This past year has been full of challenges and scares. When you hit your head and had that seizure Mommy was so scared and Daddy too! When they rushed you to the hospital we were not sure what to expect. But Praise GOD you were fine. In phoenix in the PICU you were so very tired, mommy and daddy would sing to you and hold you to try to get you to sleep but you couldn't. All the cords and beeping kept you awake. But you were such a great patient. You handled it like a champ!

Living with Mamaw for 4 months was probably harder for all of us then for you. You loved being with her every day and playing at her house. You handled the stress of the situation like you didn't even know, maybe you didn't--Praise GOD! We got to see alot of Mommy's family and Daddy's too because of the trial which was really fun. We grew really close because of what God was allowing us to endure. Jackson remember that no matter what comes God has a plan and He is using ALL things to teach us about Him and to make us more like Jesus. "All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes" never forget that baby!!

Since being home since January you have grown so much. Your vocabulary has gotten so big. You are such a talker. You love to show us everything. You love hanging out with people and being the center of attention. Yet at the same time you are perfectly content playing by yourself at home with Mommy.

Mommy and Daddy love you very much baby and pray that you grow up to be a man who loves Jesus and lives for Him. Keep being a great big brother! Keep loving to read the Bible with Daddy! God's word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. You love to read the Bible every night with Daddy and Mommy loves to hear you and Daddy upstairs giggling and reading.

I could go on and on Baby but I won't. WE LOVE YOU!!!! You are God's son given to us to raise and love here on this earth. May you have many more birthdays to celebrate! HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY our SON!!!
