So today went pretty well. Addison wore cloth diapers all day up until we left to go out to Costco. At that point I decided for the sake of convenience to put a disposable on her. She did have a poopy diaper today and yes, it did leak out the side--ugh! But...but it only leaked on the inner edge of the protective waterproof cover, so it did not get on her clothes. That is so much better than a blowout in a disposable that ends up on every layer of clothing she has on. I am still using disposable wipes as I have not ordered the spray solution to use with the wipes. I will get to that some day (soon I hope!).
Anywho, day 2 went pretty well, actually very well. I need to learn how to fold the diapers a little snugger if that's possible to keep the poo in. Her skin looks great! No rash yet. We went through 4 cloth diapers and one cover today.
Just this in...despite me not telling my hubby that Addison was in cloth before I left for work he DID in fact cloth diaper her himself. He asked me if there was a certain way to fold them. I told him what I did and then asked why he asked. Well then he proceeded to tell me how he did it. I am SOO proud of him. He changed her once and put a cloth on her and then put a disposable on overnight. What a Daddy!! No complaining at all about the cloth, lets hope this attitude continues :)
She's back in a disposable tonight, again for convience as I am EXHAUSTED after working until 3am this morning and not taking a nap.
So just what did I do today? Well besides cloth diapering my newest blessing, I had LOADS of fun with my eldest Blessing. We read books and ran around the house. I cleaned up the kitchen. And I tortured myself for 30minutes using a DVD and TV. The Biggest Loser Cardiomax level 1 workout KICKED MY BOOTAY!! But it was great. Today was also day 1 of weight watchers. It was good. Ate ALL of my points :) as I was rather hungry. Let's see if the hunger subsides each day as it did last summer when I did this.
So all in all a great day. Spent some time in prayer for Kate MacRae, Kristin, and others. Looking forward to what Wednesday holds. G'night.
