So far behind...

I am so far behind in blogging about the kids it's a bit overwelming!! The days go by so fast as I have returned back to work and though I still have time, I don't find the enegery to blog. I hope it will return.
Addison is three months old already!! I can't believe it. I got her ears pierced on the 18th of July. She is so beautiful. I mean don't get me wrong she was/is SOO SOO beautiful without the earrings but the earrings are so cute :)! She is growing like a weed! She really seems to enjoy tummy time for about 10 minutes then she is done with it. She is SO strong. She has been holding her head up since day one but she is getting better control. She has discovered her hands. And while she was not at all impressed, she did stare intently for quite some time, it was adorable. She started sleeping 12 hours at night at 9 weeks old. But now she does about 10. Not too shabby but I REALLY wish we could get a nap schedule going. Working nights I desperately need naps during the afternoon. Jackson naps beautifully and always has so I am hoping Addison will get there.
Jackson is great!! He loves Addison so very much. His vocab is amazing. He told me the other day, "I escited Mommy, I escited!!" and he was!! About what I don't know, but boy was he excited!! Oh, I wish I could strap a camera to him and to every room in the house, because it is IMPOSSIBLE to catch and describe just how busy he is. And creative! Wow! Did I mention smart?! He has great problem solving abilities. When a toy doesn't fit in the drawer he will sit there and rearrange until they all fit. I think he has his Daddy's type A personality! He's so cute. I am loving this stage!!

John--he's good. His leg is healing nicely. His job is going well. Not too much new the homefront with him or I.
I am going to try a spin class for the next few weeks. John said he'd join me once a week on the weekends so I am excited about that.
God is definately teaching me about His peace. I have been struggling lately with fear. Fear as a result of the whole "Jackson thing". Fear that my kiddos are going to be taken away from me. Thus that has been making me a super hyper mom. Yesterday in church a verse from the sermon spoke to me Colossians 3:15 "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts..." I realized then that I had been letting the father of lies fill my head with all sorts of fears and insecurites. I need to let the peace of Christ RULE in my heart. No matter what God is good and He loves me. I can rest in Him!!
Here are some of my favorite pics from the last month or so...

Jackson at the pool with his cute hat!

At the family reunion we took one of those pics where you dress up as a western. Jackson loved it:)

John's Dad was here after the family reunion for a week. It was GREAT to have him here. Jackson never left him alone. He interrupted Addison time here in this pic, he wanted in on the fun :)

Love this pic of Papa Gene and Addison

Somehow I missed this update...it says that it was written two weeks ago, but I guess no one else saw it until today either...both of their comments are from the 17th as well...weird!

ANYWHO! Your kids are adorable. Tell them I miss their mom! :) Love you!

Your kids are just too cute! I feel like I get to see you every Sunday, but my time with you is never quality or doesn't afford the opportunity to catch up... Can we make a date?! Maybe a family lunch or the husbands can watch the kiddos while you and I have a lunch date? Let's chat Sunday!
