So here are some updates for you our Family and our friends who are far away (and close to ;) )
Jackson--2.5 years old
WOW!! So cute but CHALLENGING!!! He questions EVERYTHING! Why Mommy? What Daddy? How come? Why? Its a never ending circle. What doin' mommy? Where's daddy mommy? He still loves trucks of all sorts, but is really into his Thomas the Train engine flashlight he got last year. He gets to watch "veggies" every once in a while (mornings when I get home from work). He really loves to make Addison laugh. He'll do whatever it takes to make her giggle, including pushing her bouncy seat way to hard or launching her swing way to high. But she giggles and that eggs him on.
He just told John "no cheese of me" meaning stop taking pictures of me. So pics of him are few and far between these days. He is quite the talker and has an amazing knack to remember names. He knows just about every small group member and some of the kids, about every Ace employee, all the Munki Boiz and their kids, it's crazy!!!
Addison Hope--6mo old
Starting to squeel in delight and giggle a lot. She is so beautiful (I may be bias). Still nursing like a champ. Sleeps 10-12 hours at night and started taking great afternoon naps too, praise the LORD! Her 6mo doctor appt is next Wed so we'll see her height and weight then. We haven't started solids yet but maybe after her dr. appt that might start. She loves spending time in her exersaucer and the swing that only works when big brother pushes her.
So there you have it, a Woodard Family update. Oh, what about John and myself you ask?
John--not much new. He is a GREAT Daddy!! Enjoying work and life.
Me--I might be adding a new job title to my name badge. I applied for and was offered a position at the hospital as Nursing Supervisor. I am waiting to hear from human resources about salary and such so I hope to accept Monday. Other than that? Well I am longing for time/energy to run. My sister Kelly inspires me with all her running. But these days I am working so much on nights that I have no time or energy to run. And gone are the days where I can just get dressed and hit the pavement. Oh well, maybe someday?!
Until next time...

Love the pictures and love the update. We need to schedule regular phone dates so I can hear about jobs "in person".
And you are so right...I should rethink my blog too. I started mine with the same intention as you, but now I feel obligated to write something with insight or feeling. I need to get back to just sharing our lives with the people who love us far away. Thanks for the perspective!
Love you, friend!
Thanks for the update! Those are great pics and I'm so excited for a possible new title for you, what a stud! I can't believe how much the kids are growing and you better watch out for that blue eyed heart-breaker!
Miss you!
We miss seeing you at study on Thursday mornings, but it's great to hear things are going well. You'll have to let us know about the new job! =)
Kandy,
THANK YOU!! I love checking your blog for new pictures. I love how it makes me feel like I am witness to the journey of your life together as a new family. Wish it didn't have to be via internet, but I am thankful for technology that helps to close the gap between us; and I am thankful for your dedication to keeping us updated! I LOVE YOU!!
