Excitement

I am getting really excited about the birth of this baby.  I was really apprehensive about the home birth but the past few days I have been overcome with an eager anticipation and excitement!  I feel strong, ready (yet so not at the same time!) & just plain 'ole excited! 
I am going to start reading some of the books my midwife recommended this week.  I never read anything on childbirth before the other kids' births.  I just assumed my body knew what to do, that's the way God made it.  While I still believe that I think that I can experience so much more if maybe I  read a little :)  So I will.  I am starting to make my "to-do" lists and man they are long!  Anyone wanna come over in the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy and help me clean up this joint for some company?  I am giddy, can you tell :)  I am going to call my Douala friend and see about making arrangements to utilize her services.  I have so much stuff to get for the home birth.  I know, I know, I still have 11 weeks.  I need to settle down.  But hey, I am motivated so I'd better take advantage of that motivation before I start to feel like the Goodyear blimp!  I want to enjoy these last 11 weeks and savor this pregnancy!!!  Hoping this excitement carries through to the end!!
