Snow

Today we got snow!  It has been snowing since about 10am and still is (it's now 7:15pm).  So what did we do?  Played in it for sure, but then for dessert we had SNOW ICE CREAM!!  John had never heard of it (gasp!) and so it was fun for me to see the excitement in the kids and him :)  Here are some pics of them enjoying their snow ice cream, vanilla flavor of course :)

I wish I had gotten some pics of the kids playin' in the snow.  John got home early a bit so after he snowblowed he had a fun snowball fight with the kids.  I was making dinner and I could see them from the kitchen windows and hear them shrieking with delight!  It was joy for my heart!!  I am beyond BLESSED!!    And next time we make snow ice cream, I was told "we should make this every time it snows :), I will take pictures of the process, it was neat to see the bowl of snow transform into ice cream.  Such a fun evening!!! (An added bonus it was tremendously cheaper than going out for ice cream that is for sure!)
